How my Contents Page was made
I have made many adjustments to my contents page to make it the best it can be. Originally my model was central to the page, but I found many problems with half his body cut off and I needed him to be completely shown. So by cutting off the side of the picture I managed to edit back in on the opposite side to create the effect that I wanted, and it now looks a lot more sophisticated.
By also having fairly transparent white boxes also allows for the Mise en scene to be shown better, and it therefore links to my genre giving the magazine a very natural feel.
I have now added information at the bottom of the page, informing readers of the online way they can follow or read the magazine as because of the increase in popularity of social media and internet use, paper copies of magazines will soon be going out of fashion and we need to be prepared for this change.
Highlighting my top story is also useful to readers, by making the number larger and darker, draws the readers in to turn to this particular page.
